Marquitux,

be reasonable:

> /As an cinelerra user, I WANT TO HELP but not making STUPID borders for a
website, or writing tutorials for what?/
- The web site of a software is the first thing a new user see. It is not stupid. See the blender3d's site or the firefox's one. Does your site web have stupid borders?

> /NOBODY is using it, /
- Cinelerra is one of the only open source solution for editing and compositing video. Maybe not the best; like the others solutions it has his pros and cons. Do you know how many users really use the software?

>/ editors AVOID linux. let´s change that.
/Wrong! Linux and Sgi are one of the most used system in post-production video industry. Most of big compositing (closed-source) softwares have their Linux version.

> /THE IMPORTANT ISSUE IS:
TE CODERS are ignoring the users... /
- I don't think they ignores the users.
- Who are these coders? Do you know them? How many are they? Who are the people you want to motivate? - The Cinelerra Community doesn't have the same means as other editors like ADOBE or WHATEVER has. - If you want to work with the Cinelerra Community you need to know his composition and how it works. It seems you ignore the pros and cons of the Whole Cinelerra Thing in your suggestions. First try to know the Community, second work with her.

btw I guessed your aim was to motivate and gather people (another time) around a new Cinelerra Project. Maybe cin3 project will do it in the future.
