In my opinion, by adding some missing parts to MLT framework, several editors would have direct benefit, OpenShot is one of the them which I like, understand it is less powerful than Cinelerra, but it is actively developed, more stable and suitable for non-pro tasks - compromise I have to make to do my projects. > if not, where is Cinelerra headed?
