No doubt the capture method isn't the best (that ffmpeg I sent earlier).

I've seen how to capture in cinelerra, and the "raw" video capture drops
frames big time, I guess the disk just can't keep up. When I switched to a
compressed method I got the video slanting problem - can send you a screen
shot if you want.

What's the "best" way for me to record the screen and audio in linux?

How do you check the health of a capture file? I've always thought if it
played it was good.
