Another thought, if you contact the AKC they may send a representative to
check this breeder's records and she could be in "hot water" over this. AKC
breeders are required to give either the transfer or a bill of sale with
each puppy. They are also required to keep records in a certain form. It
could create some problems. Notice I said "could", it is not certain that it
will. That is if she has not registered the litter or her records are in a
mess.
