Hello! I recently joined the list and thought I would introduce myself. I've
been showing for about 10 years in conformation and obedience (dabbling in
agility, herding, and tracking), and have bred Australian Shepherds on a
small basis since 1997. I presently have 4 Aussies in residence (all boys!
ages 9.5 years, 9 years, 4 years, and 4 months). I also co-own several
bitches (mostly of my own breeding) who reside with their "main mamas." And
then there's my 8.5 yr old Lab, Annie!
For a number of reasons I'm interested in going to a smaller breed, and the
Cavalier is at the top of my list. Hopefully I'll have a show-quality pup in
the next year or so, but I'm not in a big hurry and I want the whole package,
ya know? (Mentoring welcome as I search and get started and go on.... ;-)) By
profession I'm a freelance writer (dogs, of course!), and live in Indiana
with the dogs, my husband Roger, and a kitty names Mary.
