I can't remember a time that I didn't love animals. My family likes to
recount the time when I was about four, when I caught a bird and brought it
in the house for my Mom to see. My poor Mom suffered through fish, mice,
hamsters, snakes, birds and even a rabbit. And although I asked Santa every
year for a dog, it wasn't until I was 13 that Nikki arrived. As the years
passed we added a Lab and a Borzoi to the family as pets. Once I moved away
from home, I "rescued" my Japanese Chin (Akai) who I lost on September 14th
of last year.

As for the Cavaliers, well my obsession with them began in 1995. However,
it wasn't until 1997 that my first Cavalier - Can Ch. Mostyn Maggie May
(Maggie) arrived from Mrs. I. Brigida Reynolds (Canada).

Along with Maggie, I now have three of her daughters, a Tricolor Claymoore
Adds to the Dream (Addy) - my agility dog, a Blenheim Claymoore's Whirlabout
(Anna) who needs one major to finish her AKC Championship and a Ruby
Claymoore's Tiramisu (Tira) - who is still a baby and we are waiting to see
if she will make it to the show ring.

I also have a Granddaughter of Maggie's - Claymoore Adds Some Sass
(Sassy) - who although still young, had a promising start to her show career
by placing fourth in the 6-9 month puppy class at the CFSO last weekend.

Last but not least is my Tricolor import that arrived in 1999 - AKC Ch.
Millhill Surtout (Millie) from Ellie Mordecai in England.
