Listers,
I was one of the ones who made an original post to
this discussion. Being a " newcomer" , with mentors,
why would I go to an AKC show and think for one minute
a poor or mediocre dog was acceptable? You either have
an eye and comprehension of breed standard, or not.
I agree, being surrounded by super dogs is exciting,
and helps you define your " type". But, and I am
speaking only for myself....health , temperment and
conformation come from research. It is up to all of us
to do the hard work that leads up to super quality.
Personally, I am PROUD of my choices. And, in both
venues, I believe my research , so far, speaks for
itself. Correct me if I am wrong.
Kindest Regards,
Terri Easterbrooks
