hi glenn,
handing over a dog ringside is fine but.... there are some dogs who actually
will do better living with the handler especially with cavaliers as they seem
to have a bad case of mommyitis - or in your case daddyitis. getting them
away from their owners is sometimes advantageous it also helps for the
handler to be able to have time to work with them to see how best to show the
dog. every dog is handled differently. be aware that even tho you hand your
dog over ringside, some professional handlers will charge you expenses
anyway, so if and when you do find someone, make sure you know ahead of time
what you will be paying for.
