Jennie,
I use to travel with just one dog in the Sherpa Large travel bag that fits
under the seat in front of you. It is airline approved and was designed by
an airline stewardess that did not want to leave her dog behind when she
flew. It worked well until I took a small commuter flight in from Charlotte
to Florence and the plane shook so much from air turbulence that she chewed
her way out and ran down the aisle. The stewardess screamed because she
moved so fast she did not know it was only a dog and a cavalier at that! I
jumped over the passenger to catch her and she let her stay in my lap the
rest of the flight. She won over passengers and airline personnel during the
remainder of the flight. She also help my use sturdy baggage tape to cover
the damage of my sherpa bag and we were able to use it for the return flight
without an escape artist! RC Steele and other dog catalogues carry them for
purchase for about $79.00.
