Suze,

I have to tell you something. My first vet
reccommended the same surgery for Lainie. We have now
found out she has inverted eye lashes scraping the
eye, which causes excessive tearing, so the ducts are
blocked constantly from over production.

I would get a second opinion. I have not had to have
surgery, and needless suffering on Lainie's part.
