Hi Diane,

I went through a rather rough period, personally, about a year ago.. While
Nathan was still his usual spoiled mommy's boy - I guess he picked up on my
sadness. He started licking the walls, floor, etc - until he threw up.. and
he had diarrhea that more than a few people suggested might be whipworm.
After numerous trips to several vets and lots of tests - they all had the
same conclusion. Stress altered the bacteria in his stomach and was causing
the digestive problems. Everything is better for me now - and he has been
perfect.. I guess I'm lucky that I have (like I'm sure almost everyone on
here does) that magical connection with my dog - he just looks at me and I
know he understands how I feel. However, I have to realize that he's a
sensitive guy with sensitive feelers. : )

Hope this helps at all.

Holli (and Nathan)
