I am not sure about AOL, but you must have Norton specifically configured to look at your incoming email. The new Norton 2002, which I had to buy because of Windows XP, does that automatically. By the way, instead of buying the new Norton in a store, I got it from Ebay for about a third of the street price. I am getting viruses several times a week now, and thankfully Norton has found each one. Rosanne
