Dear Carole, Someone else who does this on a regular bases could answer this better. But there is a repo specialist a lot of breeders use in south east PA, if she does the test before noon (lab picks up around 12:30) you have the results around 4:00. So it would behoove you if you could find a vet who uses a pick up rather than mail. I know when I needed a Brucellosis test in a hurry, my own vet wouldn't do it till Monday (cause it was to late to arrange for overnight mail)and then it went by mail, etc. I went to a vet (same distance, different direction) in NJ within the hour (Sat) and had the results early Monday morning. As far as the numbers go, she should be at above 5. At the seminar with Dr. Hutchinson, he told us to try to keep doing the progesterone test until then.
