AMEN, to this, Jo Ann,
Greed is not good for our breed. On the all breed lists they are
already bemoaning what we will soon go through due to our breed's
popularity.
High stud fees drive off folks that would use the best dog that they can
afford as well. This is especially true when the stud fee includes a
puppy back automatically/mandatorily, and not for reasons that the
stud's owner wants the bloodlines, but to sell another puppy. I've now
had that quoted to me twice.
