I don't know but I thought I had a good vet. I have Flagyl on hand and I phoned
him to ask if I could give it to 3 wk old puppies. He advised I give it to mom
so puppies can get it through the milk. For this they have to nurse and they
stopped in the middle of the night. I made the a vet come in at 3 a.m. to
rehydrate the puppies. They seem to be doing better now (I saw a soft formed
stool) but of course there is still the worry about the little boy with the
heart murmor.
