I believe you Myra, this same scenario is played all over the place. Two
more cents from a chastened non-Cavalier owner: what about those who have
OFA numbers on their stud dogs and don't do the bitches? We have currently
and have had in the past (several VERY prominant names in fact) that do
this. One concludes that they can attract more stud fees with the OFA but
don't have a problem breeding untested (or as you say, maybe tested and
failed) bitches? What folks do with their own dogs is their business I feel,
as long as the dogs are happy and cared for BUT when they go to sell dogs or
offer dogs at public stud I would like to see them display a little more
responsibility about the potential problems the new owners might encounter.
If we all pull together we can move a big load. Now I shall sink back into
my pile of ashes. Michael
