Laura This is what is being advocated by the one surgeon in the UK that is operating on dogs with this condition is recommending. Certainly the condition is coming to prominence so perhaps it is no longer "that rare" I know that CKCSC has been collecting data on it as is someone at the AHT here in the UK Food for thought don't you think?
