Hi Dorothea,

I can understand your concern but keep in mind that every breed has a health
issue.  AND heart problems are not Cavalier specific.  I had a Japanese Chin
that was diagnosed with a murmur at about age 6.5.  At 9.5 it was a grade 3
and he still didn't need any medication.  In fact, he acted like a four year
old almost to the day he died.  It was a blood disorder that got him quite
suddenly, three months ago this Friday.

I think Rosanne said it best that "Cavaliers will change your life!".
