I think, Geoffrey, there are many people on this list who do not know what dogs in the ring today; who are or have been a major influence in the breed, are "rich in Rose Mullion breeding".
And because there are so few people in this country who have seen the dogs on the *to be critiqued list* it might have been helpful and not a bit harmful. But perhaps controversial. So I very respectfully disagree with you regarding this small point. :-) JoAnn > Jo Ann, > > I think you can list dogs who you consider have been a major influence in > the breed without being controversial, however, this is a different matter > to writing critiques on dogs who many people have never actually seen. > I would agree with the choice of Ch Rose Mullion of Ottermouth as , not only > was he a great dog in his own right but more importantly his sons were great > sires that bred on and were the backbone of many of the top kennels ( > Kindrum Roulette and his sister Rosemary, Ch Rose Merryn of Alansmere, he is > also close up behind the Homerbrents,( Caption goes back to him through > Henry and Bernard) the Saladors and many more including Ronnoc True Luck. > The dogs in my opinion that have really made a contribution to the breed in > the last 15 years are all rich in Rose Mullion breeding, of course there > have been others as well but he seems to be the common denominator. > Geoffrey Porter > Ringcreevy > N.
