Definitions: So far as I a mere Southerner have been told by Liverpudlian friends SCOUSE is firstly a nickname for a native of the City of Liverpool.
Secondly there is a dish of leftover food, such as bacon, cabbage and potatoes or maybe even some corned beef which is fried together in hot fat or oil in a pan, which is also known as SCOUSE. What I have been given is very good, but I had the vegetarian version. Hope no-one who knows better will be unhappy about the above.
