Thank you Cathy, I am not stud dog shopping...I am, however, trying to educate myself, in each and every aspect of the breed. This includes for me things like type, structure, pedigrees, health, outstanding producers, history and "culture" of Cavalier fanciers. For history, I read the Cavalier related books, for health there are many resources, for structure I read the standard of different breeds with similar wording in certain aspects to that of the Cavalier standard, watch them in the ring, get my hands on them and talk to other breed people along with all the books and videos on the subject. For type, I'm going to England for the club show and Crufts and plan to watch and learn. But for observations made in relationships to pedigrees, outstanding producers and just learning the Cavalier culture, I need you guys.
