He did NOT recommend it, for the very same reason." The purpose of antibiotics is to kill bacteria - and it does not discriminate between the good and bad bacteria. Anytime an antibiotic is administered, one should also provide a quality source of probiotics (such as lactobacillus acidophilus, bifudus, casei, and faecium combination). The probiotic should also be a refridgerated product, non-dairy and not past expiration date. The probiotic is fed right along with the antibiotic and continued about one week after the antibiotic regime. Also - a probiotic is very beneficial to any upset of the digestive tract, ie diarrhea. Seniors also benefit from taking probiotics. All of this is applicable to us humans as well :) >Susan > >Susan K Platt >Claymoore Cavaliers >Grand Blanc, MI >810 695-8979 >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >www.usol.com/~claymoore > >========================================================= >"Magic Commands": >to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: >mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL >to start it up gain click here: >mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL > > E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance. >Search the Archives... http://apple.ease.lsoft.com/archives/ckcs-l.html > >All e-mail sent through CKCS-L is Copyright 1999 by its original author. > > Pat Barrington - Barrington Cavaliers (Southern Ontario-Canada) [EMAIL PROTECTED] ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
