Hi Marilyn: I feed in the morning at about 8-9 am, mostly because that is what I have done for 30 some years. I'm afraid if I feed at night, they will want to go out, and I surely don't want to go out in the middle of the night! In the evening when we are having our meal (7-8pm), I play "food catch" with the dogs with kibble, which is where they learn to sneeze before I toss the food, and of course, to catch it as well. With the eight dogs, I probably use only a cup of food, and we all enjoy it! Rosanne
