I think it makes no difference when you feed them. Just do it when it is most convenient for you. However I will warn you that trying to change feeding times can be very hard. When I've done it my dogs *demanded* to be fed at the normal time for weeks and weeks, despite the new time. They want to stay on their old schedule.
