Oh for heavens sake - microchipping is done every day of the week. In fact in our state here all puppies and kittens are required BY LAW to be chipped before sale so my puppies are routinely done when they go for their first vaccination at 6 weeks. It is quick and easy and most of them don't even squeak. Its no big deal so I don't understand why people are so reluctant about it. Jeanie
