I have to say that type (appearance and temperament) and health and
construction are definitely more important to me than ideal markings.
 Without type you do not have a cavalier; without good health and
construction you do not have a healthy cavalier.
I think for showing we want all of the basics with the best possible,
appropriate markings.
re soft, padded look - to me IS the type of head we are looking for.
