I know that some of you have seen Animal Communicators at shows and/or privately. I have always thought there was nothing to them, and it was ridiculous to think that anyone could actually "talk" to our pets and tell us what they are thinking.
However, my beautiful Dinah is sick. She has cancer, squamous cell carcinoma. It is in both tonsils and her mouth. This was diagnosed right before Christmas. My vet has given her some medication for the swelling, and said she didn't think she was in pain right now, and that I would know when I needed to do something. She said that she might have about three months, but would not be here in six months. She told me to call her when the time was right, and she would come to my home and euthanize her. Someone suggested an Animal Communicator to me. She suggested someone to talk with over the phone. Intellectually, I think this is ridiculous, but I'm always open to suggestions. Every day I wish that Dinah could tell me how she feels so I would know what to do. She still eats all of her food, and she still wags her tail when she sees me and anyone else. I think she's happy to be with me. I don't want to be taken advantage of or made a fool of when I am so vulnerable, but I truly would like to know of other's experiences and beliefs re: animal communicators. Feel free to write me privately if you don't think this would be of interest to the list.
