hmmm, this is the first I have heard about stripping hair. I don't believe the breeder I bought from ever suggested that. Does it hurt them? Is it like plucking [as in eyebrows?]
As I have a hard time in just cutting Finn's nails [what if I cut too deep????....that is why it is my husbands job and not mine], I do not see myself 'stripping his stripe!' It may hurt him and he would look up at me with those loving eyes and it would kill me. If there isn't a product out there that will just slick that sucker down, I think I will let it be. He always gets bathed on a weekend, and we have lots of company [our kids come home on the weekend from college] that give Finnegan lots of love, and pets enough to mash that thing down til the next bath-time. I am just curious, as we are considering showing, and I want him at his best. Keep up the idea's, however, he is a beautiful dog, nice head, moves well, good markings...he just ummmm....has this doggy do problem.
