I am definitely the new comer on the block in that I have owned a
Cavalier for about ONE WEEK now - but ...
before purchasing my pup, I visited with several breeders, looked at
lots of dogs - and I was shown, by a breeder I respect, how to 'pull'
the 'fluff' out when it grows - on the head, neck area(s) - I asked the
breeder of my pup about this and he readily said, yes, this should be
'removed' or 'pulled out' -
SO - even though you are not supposed to 'trim' or 'over groom' - THIS
sort of fuzz stuff IS recommended to be removed - not just treated with
conditioners & stuff to get it to lay down -

Others out there in cyber-land might disagree with me -- but this is
what I have been shown / advised -
