Thanks for the advise.  I think my conformation instructor must agree with
you because she is always telling me "slow down, slow down."  My two biggest
problems with Dixie are getting her to slow down and not to sit.
Thoughtlessly, I trained her to sit for treats when she was just a couple
months old.  Now every time she sees me with a treat she automatically sits.
So now I am trying to untrain the sit behavior.  She gives me lots of
attention though and that tail never stops wagging.  I just have to work at
keeping her standing and slowing her down.
