Pam, she may be deaf. Have you checked that out? There is a late onset deafness in Cavaliers. It usually starts at about 7 years of age. If she's around other dogs, following their lead and mask the deafness. Also, the other senses are so strong in dogs that they can partially mask deafness as well.
