This morning, our two year old Blenheim male was diagnosed with a fast growing cataract and glaucoma in his left eye. Our vet gave us two options - remove the lens or remove the eye. We chose lens removal. After we came home, I took a good look at his sister. We went back to the vet, and yes, she has a small cataract in her right eye. Both are now on trosopht eye drops; on Monday morning, a referral will be called in to Dr. Nelms in Birmingham, AL.
