This morning, our two year old Blenheim male was diagnosed with a fast
growing cataract and glaucoma in his left eye. Our vet gave us two options -
remove the lens or remove the eye. We chose lens removal. After we came
home, I took a good look at his sister. We went back to the vet, and yes,
she has a small cataract in her right eye. Both are now on trosopht eye
drops; on Monday morning, a referral will be called in to Dr. Nelms in
Birmingham, AL.

If anyone on the list has dealt with this, or knows about Dr. Nelms, would
you please email me privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Any input about what to
expect would be greatly appreciated. (This is something that I always
associated with older dogs.)
