It is unfortunate that in a general discussion it is easy to misconstrue what
is being said and to think that some of the comments are directed at you or
your dog.    As someone who was at Progressive I can say without a doubt that
NO ONE I spoke to ever questioned Benji's worthiness in winning BOB.   It is
well known that Karin does show her own dogs, and better than any handler
possibly could.   In fact, there were many who saw Benji as a puppy and
commented on what a great eye Karin has to have known how spectacular he
would become (that really is meant to be a compliment, no matter how poorly I
have worded it.)
I do understand Veronica, your desire to explain the reasons Benji was here
with a handler.  Helpful, but not necessary.  For many of us, (myself
included) he would have been my choice as well.
