AND breeders are wrong for selling CKCS as show prospect with these kind of assessments. Yes...this is truly hurting the breed...
The truth of the matter is that at this particular time there are lots of new people to the breed. I would venture to guess that many of them truly do not have a good eye. Their opinion of a good dog is the one they are looking at. Which sadly is an opinion of someone that hasn't a clue or enough experience to know better. My personal opinion is that some are born with a good eye, some learn how to have one and others will never develop it no matter how long they are in the breed.
