So, what you are really saying here is......without Taffe kneeling on the ground, Andy would not have been at his best? I hardly think so! He won BOB on his natural merits....not because the handler's face was in his. Let's get off this argument about kneeling and just do it correctly to begin with!!!
Maybe to some on this list it seems trivial to be debating this...........but if the mode of showing a cavalier is given way to kneeling and sprinting around the ring, we lose the heritage and individuality of this breed. The free wagging tail and natural stance is part of what makes a cavalier a cavalier and I for one will fight against this artificial way of presenting them! pam ----- Original Message ----- From: Sheridan Weinstein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, February 12, 2002 6:53 PM Subject: Re: [CKCS-L] Westminster BOB > Look folks, Andy's handler is one of the best professionals in the > business -- so lets get off bashing what was seen -- she knows quite well > how to get the best of a dog in the ring, and she did magnificently with > Andy.
