Hi Pam,
No one respects this breed more than I do.
I don't remember what the handler was wearing but bending 90 degrees is
usually not terribly attractive..kneeling just looks better..usually..and
the dog was looking straight at the handler..not straight up..so his top
line was nice and level..not slanted as so many are now a days, his legs
were under him and not bowed as so many are now a days.
I don't know how much room the handler had either...I do know they made a
lovely picture.
I believe Andy is one of the few top Cavaliers being shown naturally.  One
of the few NOT trimmed and dyed and over done, one of the few not campaigned
every week end.
He is being treated with the respect due our breed and we should all
celebrate.

As for tradition; it changed the instant CKCSCUSA decided not to go with the
breed.
I'm pleased dogs like Andy are out there for  judges to see.
