One of the best professionals in the business should know what the standard
says about presentation. The fact that she chose to ignore it to chase a win
is a big deal to people more concerned with the future of the breed then
winning.

Does your comment imply that if it means "getting the best of a dog in the
ring" then trimming is ok or coloring or other things that conflict with what
the standard says?

Breaking the rules a little is still breaking the rules. Either the breed
enthusiasts should follow and encourage others to follow them or why have
them at all?
