I am very new to Cavaliers, so am seeking 'education' here, but do many of you feed raw bones to your dogs? If you do, do you still see your dogs needing their teeth cleaned frequently?
My vet does not 'approve' of my feeding my dogs the meaty bones that I feed daily, but when we were in for our annual check up, she did comment on how beautiful the dogs' teeth were & that they didn't need any cleaning! (I didn't own my Cavalier at that time - just my 2 Bernese Mt Dogs) Joan Claudia Jones wrote: > In a message dated 2/19/02 6:50:59 PM Eastern Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] > writes: > > >> it would run me around >> 1350.00. this would includean EKG and the anesthesia. > > > ooops, misread this, thought it said 350.00. even on long island, that is > outrageous! a normal dentistry, all inclusive should run about $250. add > another $75 or so for pre op bloods and an ekg. extractions are usually about > $5 a tooth. > > ========================================================= > "Magic Commands": > to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: > mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL > to start it up gain click here: > mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL > > E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance. > Search the Archives... http://apple.ease.lsoft.com/archives/ckcs-l.html > > All e-mail sent through CKCS-L is Copyright 2002 by its original author. > > ========================================================= "Magic Commands": to stop receiving mail for awhile, click here and send the email: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20NOMAIL to start it up gain click here: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?body=SET%20CKCS-L%20MAIL E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] for assistance.
