I guess I don't see anything wrong with correcting misaligned teeth that happened say because baby teeth failed to come out while adult teeth were coming in. However, to make an underdeveloped jaw LOOK correct by pushing back the lower teeth seems unethical to me. I thought the reason why bad bites often correct themselves is because the jaw continues to grow and finally reaches correct developement. I would think judges should take into consideration as to the reason for the bad bite. Is it just some crooked teeth or a poorly developed jaw?
