I live with a chronic barker.  At everything and at nothing.  Wind, stuffed
animals,  the TV any movement outside most movements inside, any and every
noise, every day.  Inanmiate objects each of us if we leave the room and
return.  Don't even mention strangers visitors in my house get no peace
unless one of us is holding her and not even on occasion then.  When my
parents were here over the holidays we pretty much took turns watching TV
upstairs with her for the week as it was the only way to keep her quiet.  It
gets on your nerves.  It wears you down.

I would never consider having her debarked.  It wouldn't be being done for
her benefit it would be for ours.  And though she is noisy she seems to be
happy.
