Someone has told me about having seen Cavalier puppies in a pet shop in
Huntington, NY (on Long Island). Turns out this was about 10 days ago; the
person (who lives in Seaford but is not in a position to pursue this) had
passed 2 petshops in the area and wasn't sure which one it was; one was
called Canine Corral (maybe spelled with 'K'), and I don't know the name of
the other one. Can anyone check it out?
I'm asking this because of a similar question someone posted recently, and I
also wonder if someone could tell me, *How* does this get checked out, and
what if anything can be done? (I'd want to know what to do if I heard about
this near me.) Is it a matter of trying to find out from the petshop where
(from whom) the puppies came from, in order to contact the "breeder" and try
to persuade him/her to stop? Am I wrong in assuming the puppies can't be
"rescued" (purchased) from the petshop because that would just give the
petshop more incentive to acquire/sell them? Sorry to be na�ve about this;
any enlightenment will be appreciated. Thanks!
