Hi, Carolyn and list,
Yes, this is the exact experience I had with Cherrybrook two years ago
and when I called to complain they said it was due to updating their
inventory system. The next time I ordered, I specifically asked them to
check whether all items were in stock. I was told that there was no
problem, but the same thing happened a second time. Apparently,
inventory control still doesn't work. Really, too bad as they ARE nice
folks with whom to deal at shows. However, I won't order from them if I
really need something because they WILL tell you something is in stock
(even if you specifically ask them to check) and then when it they find
it isn't in stock after all, you are not informed.
