I've seen this particular bitch once before, and she is a very young animal also..I think she's less than a year and a half in age, which as many know Cavaliers can look homely and/or transitional in head and coat, but structure doesn't change, and she's soundly made and proportionally well balanced, as are her sire and dam and her grandsires and granddams. And the judge today, Grace Moran, seems to look for balance and movement in her choices. She is very familiar with the breed. She gave Ch. Elvenhome Elrohir his first Best in Show, I think, or maybe it was his first Group 1. I think Myra Savant has had a very nice win from this judge as well. My Ch. Elvenhome Bayberry took a 4-pt. major from the classes for a Best of Breed three years ago...his first points...under this same judge, and she put up him over a Special! I was not even going to stay for that show as we'd been "dumped" for the three previous shows under judges I've never shown under again. Today's Best of Breed was Ch. Elvenhome Keep Going. Good luck in the Toy Group, Stephanie!
