Dave - Carol Williams,(chair), John Gammon and Stephanie Abraham wrote this letter very carefully and with a lot of care by on behalf of Cavalier exhibitors in the AKC, and the letter was sent to all AKC judges licensed for the breed. Carol Williams and Stephanie Abraham are breeder/exhibitors of Cavaliers and AKC-licensed to judge Cavaliers as well. As for John Gammon, his reputation in the Cavalier Breeder/Exhibitor is legendary. One could not find three more fair-minded nor qualified persons to speak on behalf of the Breed and it's many other stewards regarding this issue to the AKC Judging Community at large.
