Sounds like a good option to me. I, too, am receiving odd calls. I'm also receiving calls from people who want to show and breed at the rate of one or two a week! This is getting frightening. I had a long talk yesterday with someone who had purchased her dog from a puppy mill. All her neighbors wanted a puppy and she was exploring the possibility of breeding her to provide puppies for them. She is on AKC Limited Registration papers. After talking to her for 30 minutes I highly doubt she will breed her girl. To her benefit I will admit she was quite open to listening and learning. She didn't get defensive or anything. Do show breeders find it acceptable to sell nearly white Cavaliers (with a properly marked head) to others to show? I am seeing more and more very white Cavaliers, some with almost mismarked heads in the ring. Although I've kept some really outstanding dogs for myself that were almost all white or even mismarked, I can't imagine selling something like that for show!
