My dogs caught a red headed wood pecker the other day. We had feathers
everywhere. Poor little thing.

Ann Ray Hutton called me one day and Danno had caught a squirrel. Last I heard
the tazidemist said it had to many holes in it to stuff but Ann insisted on that
thing being stuffed for the trophy room.

One day Danno came running in my house so proud of himself he had all the
cavaliers chasing him around the back yard and there was the funniest sound
coming from his mouth when I finally got him stopped and the others away he was
holding a live Locus that was try to fly down his throat. He was not giving it
up for anything much like his beloved squirrel. Finally I got him to drop it and
let it go. They really are good bird dogs. But they are toys so don't try to
move them to the sporting group.
