HMMMMM.  You know, my dogs will almost all go after birds and small
animals but they will NOT retrieve thrown objects. Nor will they
surrender any of "their" catch to me.  (Fortunately, the last "catch"
was a long dead Koi probably killed by the barn cat but proudly held by
a small blen girl. LOL) Isn't there an instinctual difference between
hunting and retrieving?
