When my 10 year old boxer was about 3-4 months she got this condition. It
looked awful! The inner membrane was very red and covered most of her eye.
It lasted well over a month. My vet gave me some kind of drops for it
(probably a placebo for me) and said she would grow out of it, and she did.
Never had another problem. Don't know if her condition and recovery was
specific to boxers or not. I'd get another opinion, especially if you have
any holistic vets around. Find out what alternatives to surgery are.
