Doesn't the AKC regulations depend on whether each breeder signed half of the litter over to the other breeder? If that was done and a supplement transfer was needed for the puppy buyer, then the co-breeder would have the other co-breeder as the person who received the puppy for their records and no rights to information on who they went to afterward.
I know that once I have sold a puppy, I have no control over who that person sells the dog to unless there has been a previous agreement. There are many facets to this and I think that it would always depend on the original agreement between the two breeders.
