I believe in the past 7 years of my exhibiting at CKCSC,USA shows, there has been more than one occasion a judge has made written(in the Bulletin) and verbal comments(at a banquet) about people over baiting their dog making it difficult to judge expression or check teeth when they are chewing bait on the examination table! I think timing is everything. They suggested more time training the dog would make the handler less dependant on baiting.
